Hopefully a rescue dog is fortunate enough to get to live with a foster family before they find their forever home. Training and preparing them for when that happens is an important step that I am thankful to provide.
It brings me great pleasure to help our local community in any way that I can. Working closely with foster families helps ease the transition for dogs who are adapting to home life once again.
Sandra Machado, of Learned Behaviors Dog Training agreed to donate her expertise to help Stella and her highly committed foster family: “We work with manners and impulse control and like a true Pit, she picked up really fast. Her [foster] family is amazing and she is loved, not only by them, but by her extended family as well. This is one of the happy ending cases that keep us going and doing what we do.”
